Privacy and your files

What we collect, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted. In plain English.

Effective November 1, 2026

The short version

Who we are

NineTenths is a small software company based in Colorado. Questions about this policy or your data go to hello@ninetenths.pro.

What we collect

When you contact us

Whatever you include in your message, usually your name, email address, phone number, station name and town, the number of sites you run and which POS system you use.

When you request a price check

The files you choose to send: daily fuel sales from your POS, fuel invoices and delivery tickets, card processing statements, and, if you send them, tank gauge reports and inside sales. We never ask for bank, card or account logins.

When you visit this website

The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking code. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes the standard technical details every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the page and protect it from attacks.

How we use it

Your station’s data is used for your station only. We never combine your sales, cost or price data with any other station’s data to set, suggest or compare prices, and we never use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information or your station’s data, and we never share it with another station, a fuel supplier or a jobber.

We use a small number of service providers to run the business. They handle data only on our behalf:

We will also disclose information if the law requires it, for example under a court order.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your files only while we are working with you. Ask us at hello@ninetenths.pro and we will delete your files and contact details within 30 days, whether or not you continue after the price check. We will confirm by email when it is done. We will sign a confidentiality agreement before you send files if you would like one.

How we protect it

Station files are stored separately for each station and only NineTenths can access them. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.

Email from us

If we email you about NineTenths, every message will say who it is from, include our postal address, and let you opt out. We honor opt-outs promptly.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. This website does not track visitors at all, so there is nothing for the signal to turn off.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you or your station, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@ninetenths.pro. This website and the price check are meant for business owners, not for children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. We will not change how we use station data you have already sent without asking you first, and if we ever change it, you can have your data deleted.
